This online course introduces learners to telementoring, or technology-enabled mentoring, which uses telecommunication technology for training, education, and support to build healthcare capacity.

 

Through this course, you will be able to:

  1. Understand the different telementoring models:
    • Webinars
    • Podcasts
    • Individual consultations
    • Online modules & curricula
    • ECHO
    • Adapted Community Health Clubs (ACHCs)
  2. Learn how to choose the right telementoring model for your needs.
  3. Explore the necessary equipment and software.
  4. Develop strategies to promote and engage learners in your telementoring programs.
